Installation and Measurement For an inside mount, ensure a minimum of 3 inches of frame depth. Measure your window width exactly, rounding to the nearest 1/8 inch, and deduct 1/4 inch from your measurement. For an outside mount, the width of the shades should be the window width plus 4 inches, and the height should be the window height plus 4 inches. Provide these detailed measurements when filling out the customization form.
